NEW LOOK FOR NEW WEST METALS MARKS TWO MILESTONES

This year marks 40 years in business for New West Metals, a milestone achieved thanks in large part to the great relationships they have enjoyed with customers and partners. And with this milestone comes another: New West Metals has been acquired by the W2 Group. To mark these milestones, the company is pleased to unveil its updated brand identity. 

The W2 Group, led by brothers Kori and James Buhler, is a family-owned and operated company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The group includes several operating entities: Wallace & Wallace Fences and  Doors, Wallace Perimeter Security, and Universal Doors. 

“Kevin and Sharon built a successful business, and we were drawn to the shared values and culture at New West Metals. The team at New West Metals is impressive and we look forward to continuing to work with Kevin for many years to come. We are focused on supporting an already great team and company.” said Kori Buhler, President, W2 Group. 

With this ownership transition, Mr. Justin Schneider has joined New West Metals as Managing Partner &  Vice President. Mr. Schneider has extensive industry connections across Western Canada and together with his operating and financial background, will be instrumental in supporting the company’s growth.

This is an exciting transition for the company and the Kessler family.

New West Metal’s new brand identity signals the company’s evolution and growth. The updated fonts and graphics represent the future of New West Metals while maintaining the existing colour palette pays homage to its successful past.  

Moving forward there will be no changes to the operations of New West Metals. Mr. Kessler and the existing team will remain active in the business and the company remains committed to being a key supply chain partner for their many customers and suppliers.
